This lakeside renovation was all about creating something new and exciting in a substantial extension to the current property. While it wasn’t a new build, we completely transformed the empty attics into a library, rumpus room and office/walkway that connects the two peaks of the house. Bold wallpapers and big windows helped redefine a storage space into something sunny and people-orientated.

Another key consideration in the design was ensuring accessibility, including a lift instalment. We loved this challenge, of both creating a fresh space, but also facilitating the movement of anybody to enjoy it. Hence, this space optimised connection, with both the different parts of the house being joined together, but also creating an inclusive environment for people to gather.
